Use the following verbs in your own sentences.
(i) Abandon: I will never abandon my dream of becoming a writer.
(ii) Acquire: The United States acquired Florida from Spain in 1819.
(iii) Activate: The smoke activated the fire alarms.
(iv) Alleviate: Take an aspirin to alleviate your headache.
