Answer the following questions. 

(i) What type of land Arabia is?

Ans. It is a land of charm and beauty. It has many deserts. 

(ii) Where is Makkah situated?

Ans. It is situated about fifty miles from the Red Sea. 

(iii) What type of competition was held at Ukaz?

Ans. A poetical competition was held at Ukaz. 

(iv) Why was the Holy Quran sent in Arabic?

Ans. It was because the Arabs had great love for their national language. 

(v) For which ability were the Arabs famous?

Ans. They were famous for their memory and eloquence. 

(vi) What was the condition of mankind before the Holy Prophet (SAW)?

Ans. There was injustice, violence and bloodshed everywhere. 

(vii) Why did the Holy Prophet (SAW) stay in the cave of Hira?

Ans. He (SAW) stayed there to worship Allah in loneliness. 

(viii) What was the first revelation?

Ans. It was: "Read in the name of thy Lord Who created; created man from a clot: Read and thy Lord is most Bountiful, Who taught (the use of) the pen, taught man that which he knew not."

Ans. It may spread false news.

Ans. The Holy Prophet (SAW) and Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) migrated from Makkah to Madina in the year 622. 
(xxii) What title was given to Hazrat Asma (RA) by the Holy Prophet (SAW)?
Ans. She (RA) was given the title of "Zatun-Nataqin".
(xxiii) Why was Abu Jehl furious?
Ans. He was furious at the migration of the Holy Prophet (SAW).
(xxiv) What happened when Abu Jehla asked about Abu Bakr Siddique (RA)?
Ans. When Hazrat Asma (RA) concealed the fact, he gave her a slap on her face. 
(xxv) Why was Abu Quhaffa (RA) worried?
Ans. He (RA) was worried because he thought that Abu Bakr (RA) had taken all the wealth with him.
